I don’t understand this.
The article complains that the fragrance isn’t fresh.

It’s a flanker that’s a bit darker than the others.
Why would you hate on it because it’s not bright and fresh? If that’s what you want, the EDT already exists.

For me, I would prefer the Parfum. Then I’d go L’Exclusif. But I think younger people, or the mainstream market is gonna prefer the EDT or EDP. I mean hell, there’s only so much change you can make to a blue fragrance while still keeping the DNA.

This seems to be the problem for designer brands. If they play it safe they get labeled as boring and overpriced. If they take risks, like Gucci or Cartier, they get bashed.

This is what the article ends with:

What I’ve always loved about the Bleu de Chanel line is absolute comfort – the ease of never having to think whether the fragrance is appropriate. Just grab the bottle, spray, and you’ll smell pleasant and fitting in any situation. That comfort is no longer the collection’s signature, because L’Exclusif simply doesn’t smell fresh.

They’re basically saying: this fragrance sucks because I like simple scents I don’t have to think about.

That’s not a fragrance problem. That’s a YOU problem.

I'm off today and just chillin

after I get myself together, since it's raining and not warm out, I'm either going to wear my Tru Religion or my trusted Burberry Touch

but I'm thinking about trying one of my oils I copped, I hope it doesn't stain collars because it's thicker than cologne, but I'm wearing a fresh white t this chill Sunday, so if I wear one of my oils I will let yall know

I never worn oils before, only cologne, so bear with me, lol

Finished my decant of Burlington 1819.
Maybe I’ll cop another decant next summer.

This is good but honestly, for me, I like Oceania more.

I think if I’m getting another decant soon, I might get African Rooibos again. Or some other Chris Collins fragrance because that first one was really good.

I've never seen it at the discounters. I see some of the other L'Atelier line, but never this one.

I honestly don't think you need more than 5mls of the stuff. It doesn't really smell like the notes they're promising

You can grab the decant here.
