SOTD: Imperator by Royal Crown
Creamy and floral. This is gonna sound weird but it reminds me of some kind of cream or lotion my mom had when I was a kid.

while we're sounding weird tho I want to share some thoughts about stuff I've been exposed to recently
tom ford oud minerale - to me this smells like a hangover. like...hard livin' . metallic and white liquorish. my wife the g that she is likes it tho because it "smells masculine"
dior sauvage edt - what hasn't been said. this shyt is full bottle worthy full stop. I fell in love with the elixir but this one is a lot less situational. definitely in the line up for my next round of curating. this is without smelling the edp yet. reminds me of coach green, which I smelled first... speaking of which...
coach green - smells great, super similar to dior sauvage, but the dry down is funky. in a bad way. it smells sleazy
afnan 9am dive - fantastic opening. its like bleu de chanel parfum with extra lemon. but like above, dry down smells like chemical but-tops
sospiro vibrato - its ingenious ginger without rose. and the ginger turned up loud. I prefer ingenious ginger but I do wish it was as strong as vibrato
clive christian crab apple blossom - everything in this is just enough. its just sweet enough, just sharp enough, just natural enough, and performs just strong and long enough. not sure if that's deliberate but props to the ppl responsible
amouage outlands - this shyt moves around a lot. it smelled, to me, like a lemon oatmeal cookie or cake for a couple hours, then it was this is comforting middle eastern spicy mildly sweet...f it this joint smells good. I find it impossible to describe. just know it's doing a lot over time. fyi putting your nose directly in it gives a menthol effect. so menthol, citrus, oatmeal, spice....smh. and it smells good AF the whole time
penhaligons endymion concentre - I asked about a cold weather blue here a while back. this is the answer
mirror image fragrances - I don't like at all outside of the immediate opening. respectfully
alexandria la meteore - it does eventually smell like meteore after a little over an hour. since I grabbed the og this is my car air freshener
lv lovers - I hated it until I smelled it on my son. its not meant to spray on yourself and jam your nose in it like I do. its meant to radiate and that shyt smells amazing that way
