Turned into a bit of a cologne aficionado. One of my employees parents own a fragrance shop so over a 6 month period I had him rotating me different sample vials of every notable cologne.
In the end these 3 are my go too.

Creed Millesime Imperial
(My absolute favorite scent I've smelt. This is worn only on dates or serious social outings)

Luis Vuitton Pacific Chill
(My Spring/Summer go to. This is technically my everyday social outing Cologne. Also my travel cologne, so this is what comes with me as I'm traversing the globe)

Chanel Bleu de Chanel
(What I wear to the office. Since this is slightly cheaper than the other 2, this is technically my everyday since I wear it to work. It came down to this and Tom Fords Oud Wood)

*I also have Shae Butter/Body Lotion version of each of these too*

Herod, Layton, and Carlisle aside, PDM is a fairly unremarkable house imo. Lob City Clippers of the fragrance world if you will, a lot of flash and hype. They're out of their damn minds with that price tag, bottles look hard though

sotd goldfield n banks wood infusion. smells something like toned down l'immensite without the ginger. on some standard plain old blue type shyt tbh

edit...standard is the wrong word. safe, yes. this shyt dries like the lumber section at Lowe's. not like any other blue I smelled but it its safe and normal still

we got the goldfield n banks discovery set. so I got some reviews

wood infusion - opens like bdc limmensite, dries like molecule 01. not bad, maybe a bottle in the future

bohemian lime - opens lime and ginger, dries almost like wood infusion but the lime actually lingers a lil bit. this shyt smells good

desert rosewood - opens like sweet potato pie, dries like yellow cake mix. with a hint of play doe. not bad but not for me

pacific rock moss - has a great opening but the dry down is really boring. again the opening is incredible

white sandalwood - stinks

southern bloom - smells great , feminine. once we got thru the set my wife ordered a bottle from maxaroma for like half price

sunset hour - smells decent but not really remarkable. think pacific chill but a lot less exciting. then think about how pacific chill is already not that exciting

blue cypress - opens nice, and different, but dry down is an afterthought. super unremarkable

velvet splendour - its feminine and my wife doesn't like it. I really don't know how to judge lady perfume. smelled fine to me

ingenious ginger - is incredible through and through. I already have a bottle. top 5 fragrance for me I just wish it was a tiny bit stronger
