They got bought by Private Equity in 2023. The last one that folks liked was Althair (2023). Perseus got some noise (2024). Castley, Valaya, and these 3 have been getting "positive" reviews, but not "rave" reviews.

I swear the Dubai squad must pay a lot more than the PDM street team, because none of their stuff has been hyped lately.

We have to start staying up to date on when and how often alot of these fragrance houses are sold to larger corporations.

Last month Creed was sold again. Kering sold Creed to L'Oreal for 4.7 billion. This might be the final chapter for Creed.

The funniest thing about 99% of these private equity/leveraged buy outs/acquisitions is that the only way to make it more profitable is to cut the staff and cut the quality and then raise the price.

But the thing that made it profitable was a good staff and high quality standards.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of ANY acquisition in ANY industry where things improved.

Maybe there's an obvious one, but I can't think of it.

They been doing that for a while. I been caught onto that shyt though. 1-2 days is bullshyt and means 3-5 weeks. If Jomashop doesn't give you a specific date or say "Want it delivered by Friday, November 7th" then you aint getting it for a while.
Perfumebox screwed me like this and never shipped my shyt. Reached out and they gave me the old "USPS picked it up" excuse and even gave me a shipping label but never moved. Disputed the charge through Paypal and got my money back.

I stop buying from Jomashop, they did the samethings to me.

Right now I only buy from MaxAroma, Saks and Macy's. Maxaroma has been solid, they do not charge taxes when you live outside of New York and they have fast shipping. Also, the rewards program is good and they also have extra coupons floating around, you just have to look for them.

Loving the rooibos tea note in this. Comes off spicy with a hint of smokiness with raspberry in the background. It isn't a clone of anything that I know of and projects like crazy. Only did two sprays and its still lingering 5 hours later.
