s/o to decantX- roja parfums X burlington 1819: reminds me bvlgari X tygar, - heavy citrus blended in with a hint of spice/smoke scents, shyt is fire imo
- paco rabanne X invictus platinum: smells like a jean paul gaultier X le beau clone with mint, not bad
- xerjoff casamorati X 1888 fiero: if lemograss and lemonade iced tea had a kid, this is what it'd smell like
- m. micallef X GNTONIC: reminds me of irish spring soap
- afnan X supremacy collector's edition: sweet and fresh pineapple/apple with a hint of flower notes, still has a masculine appeal to it tho
- giorgio armani X armani code: iris scented shower gel lol non-offensive smell, good for most settings
considering the bullshyt samples i bought in the past, i'm impressed with this batch
Wore my Burberry Touch today because I was out and it was hoody/coat weather, I'm gonna reup on it in a smaller bottle from TJ Max, I'm aslo going to reup on my Azarro Most Wanted cologne
I also sampled some Darko(sp) cologne from JC Penney so I'm definitely copping that,
and in Macy's I sampled some Ralph Lauren cologne that smells amazing
plus I'm still waiting on my samples from DecantX, they taking their sweet little time for some reason, and I always tip them, but America is so fukked up right now they simply might just be overwhelmed so I ain't mad, just impatient.
But my cologne collection gonna be solid for the winter
also quick question cologne brehs, you ever STOPPED liking a cologne you used to wear, I used to really like Versace Blue Jeans, but to now it smells like old man cologne, it's too overpowering now in my personal opinion, but I know it's still poppin. And isn't expensive, but I just don't want the bottle anymore, might ask my cousin or if one of my homeboys likes it and just give them the rest of the bottle, because Versace Blue Jean's ain't my taste anymore, but a lot of people still like it. But I'm not throwing it away because I don't like to waste stuff ya dig

I've never seen a full bottle for less than $120.
It smells nice, but imo, the brand doesn't even have Jimmy Choo/Coach level respect.

The Arabs (UAE I believe) are behind this mass clone movement.
They basically clone whatever is popping in the west.
Middle Eastern Fragrance has a centuries of history, popping off well before the French dudes was trying to mask 'dat syphilis smell.
Before I got heavy into the cologne game, I had a ton of oils from my incense spot.
How come there aren't more legit fragrances that aren't clones?
There's no Golden Sands EDP nowhere?

Grabbed this when I was looking for a Mind Games Queening dupe for my lady after I passed her the same and she liked it. It's a decent impression that mostly captures the essence of LV's Imagination but doesn't quite reach the heights that the real thang does.
It's a little less airy, the citrus is a little thicker, & the tea note is a little less nuanced (real loud), but overall, it's not bad at all. Might later it with some Checkmate or Versace Pour Homme to give it a lil bit of a bump next time.
