Well I'm sure they have sent automated craft to the moon, just like they did Mars etc.

I'm not dismissive of everything, just needs to make sense.

Filiming someone opening the door and stepping off the spaceship for the "first time in human history" is kinda silly when there's a camera already setup on a tripod to film it.
