I get standing your ground. It earned me a night in jail and almost 1k in legal fees to avoid getting a charge put on my name.
They're aware of this dynamic when they create a volatile situation. The aim is to attract bystanders and let centuries worth of negative stereotypes and bigotry do the rest.
