We went on a family vacation when this dropped. Me and my cuzzos would wake up, hoop, swim, try to pick up chicks and play this all night. Pops was like yall coulda done that at home. Not like this pops, not like this.

So, I'm playing GTA 5 on the 360.
I had the console standing tall.
The shyt started humming too loud.
So, I leaned it downward a bit and disaster struck!!!!
The disc was scratched like a mofo.
Now, either that was a sign to stop playing video games or a sign that I'm about to be out fifty+ bucks.

Man games use to be amazing, I remember when you had to learn everything about a game, and I remember when everything didn't have to be a Triple A title.
Now the game is deemed bad or good before release, if you have more than a handful of glitches it's unplayable. DLC is 20 percent of the game sold in small pieces every few months and Youtube explains how to find everything when you get stuck.

Me and my brother once stayed up until 8:30 AM during summer vacation playing this game, we were doing a Braves vs Yankees best of 7 series.
I used to straight up beast with the Braves pitching staff, had him cursing and throwing the controller and shyt

It started with the first console I had, the 1st Nintendo, me and my boy playing Double Dragon.......FOR HOURS ON END!!!
Since we was both gearheads, next in line was GT for the Playstation. Both sitting on the edge of recliners, gripping the controllers something fierce, staring at the screen trying to fight for 1st place with our go-to modified cars for racing. Always had a gang of modified monsters in the garage. GT continues to be my hands down favorite racing game ever. Been thinking about shifter, pedals, and steering wheel for the PS3.
If I had the $$$ I would straight put one of these in my living room...........

This game was Legendary it was one of the first ones that came to mind. The superstar mode had me hooked. I can still remember the songs from the game too
this shyt right here and also NBA live consumed me. Madden 06 was special cause McNabb was on the cover and Superstar mode. Before Superstar mode even came out my brother and I had an idea that they should do a sports game where you start off in high school and go through college than to pro sports. As we all know EA eventually did that...linking draft classes and everything so it was crazy to see the idea manifest. Sadly it started off great but EA didnt develop it as well as they could have. So much potential
I saved up money as a $15 year old that I got helping my mom at work; preordered it and rode my bike for miles to EB games/Gamestop for that shyt lol
When I was at school I used the orange juice and milk trick, you drink both at the same time so your parents think you have a stomach bug as it makes you throw up, just so I could spend more time playing this game.
Space simulations have never been the same since, the only issue I have is the person who made this game David Braben refuses to sell the rights to anyone else,so they can re release the old pc versions.He has apparently been making a sequel for about a decade.... In a way it's a good think as I would have no life if I could play it again, it must be like crack.
