all you cats browsing the coli on work computers
As a manager i can tell you that when it is time for a lay off and we in a room discussing it one of the things that comes up is "who is just goofing off on the internet"
And that turns into "are we monitoring what people are doing on the internet"
And if so that turns into "give me a report per group and per employee to see what they are doing on the internet"
And that turns into HR compiling a list of websites that they view as time wasters...
And generally so man people get caught up in that trap...that we don't have to worry about who to lay off...because 100's of employees just became candidates...
Get something like teamviewer or log me in and use that to log into your home PC from your work PC...
You get to browse the net and their is no evidence left on your actual work pc...if they do some digging they will find it fishy that your pc opened a specific port to communicate with a specific IT they don't know about...but that is a lot more subtle then them running that internet report and finding out you on the coli 4 hours a day at work...
