Nope. Not at all. Work for a big hospital corporation and they monitor shyt. And I'm pretty busy so I can imagine for example if a mistake was made or let's say something took longer than expected and you we're browsing a non work website at that time they would try to tie that to why you made a mistake or why workflow was halted/delayed when in reality it could have been anything else.

So nope not at all.

Yes, I would say 99.9% of my posts have been done while at work because I don't check the site at home or on the weekends. The Coli passes the time during slow periods. I rarely check the site at home.

Peace
Came to say this.

If I get on the internet outside of work, I need some information real quick.

I work for a relatively smaller company in my industry. They aren't interested in monitoring everyone's actions on the computer as long as work is getting done. So I be up on the Coli like :dj2: when I log in in the morning.

This right here. I'm the go to person if there is computer problems, so I know I won't hear about browsing habits. My work is pretty laxed in the motorcycle industry, as long as customers are getting taken care of, no problems. Posting from my desk right the fukk now.

I treat the coli like the news paper first thing I do once I'm logged in usually goes like.

"Ric Flair Struts through door still high from last night" Watup yall :pachaha:

"Sits down before morning meeting with a FULL breakfast pancakes eggs and all" Who moved the cayenne pepper:eat:

"Logs in to computer then logs into coli for the morning news/ latest fukkery" Stephen A and Trump said what this morning :coffee:

"Stays Logged In all day hitting ALT+Tab when nosey co-worker passes" :upsetfavre:
"Bust out laughing at a gif gets called into office about workplace behavior":francis:

Man I love thecoli :blessed:

I run my own business now and to be honest even though i have no boss anymore i limit what i say and what threads i go in because dealing with a growing clientele and business connects, as sad as it is...being associated with this site as a black business person is and could potentially be bad for business. One google search and that could be it. I have to give a fukk about what I say on here. Thats even included deleting comments ive made previously.

The last thing im looking for is for someone to say I'm associated with a "racist" website cause we all know anything too pro black is considered that by the dominant society. I have to protect my paper and my professional interests cause the last thing im looking to do is go back to working for someone again.

all you cats browsing the coli on work computers :francis:

As a manager i can tell you that when it is time for a lay off and we in a room discussing it one of the things that comes up is "who is just goofing off on the internet"

And that turns into "are we monitoring what people are doing on the internet"

And if so that turns into "give me a report per group and per employee to see what they are doing on the internet"

And that turns into HR compiling a list of websites that they view as time wasters...

And generally so man people get caught up in that trap...that we don't have to worry about who to lay off...because 100's of employees just became candidates...

Get something like teamviewer or log me in and use that to log into your home PC from your work PC...

You get to browse the net and their is no evidence left on your actual work pc...if they do some digging they will find it fishy that your pc opened a specific port to communicate with a specific IT they don't know about...but that is a lot more subtle then them running that internet report and finding out you on the coli 4 hours a day at work...
