Phil Anselmo of Pantera. It’s some 90s metal shyt, if you don’t know the band. He’s a piece of shyt person, but he was right about tripping.

I don't know him. I don't listen to heavy metal music but however I do like the song called "The Perfect Drug" by Nine Inch Nails. But I don't fukk with any drugs. Just weed and drinks. I don't want to try shrooms or any cac drugs shyt. I don't.

The only reason why I liked that song cause when I smoked a weed and got high and I found that song and shyt was dope.

Brehs who think psychadelics are just white ppl shyt are missin out

Meanwhile they're sipping lean, popping pills, destroying their health, and picking up an opioid addiction:martin:

Psychedelics aren't for everyone. You really have to be about expanding your conciousness. If you think it's only for white people then you're not ready in the first place.

Shrooms were the best feeling I've ever had. Never tried LSD. That and DMT are the only things I'd like to experience.

I’m a humongous metal fan (all kinds, death, doom, black, grind).

Nine inch nails was my favorite band in high school actually. That “Fragile” album got me through some hard times.

NIN is industrial metal. That sub-genre doesn’t really exist anymore, for whatever reason :mjcry:

Done it a few times when I was younger.

One memorable experience was dropping a hit of acid when I was 15 and watching Big Trouble Little China back to back in my parents basement. My mind went to an illy place and never fully came back. I often wonder how is people don’t see the world as I do and I attribute it all to that day.

Microdoses definitely sounds intriguing to me, but I don't know about having a dependence on any substance, especially when it's hard to come by like shrooms.

Low key, I was depressed AFTER shrooms just cause I felt like I lost a superpower of sorts.:russ:

Like my normal consciousness was almost too boring. I got over it after a day or two, and I felt like I learned a lot, especially about myself.

San Francisco.
Well hopefully not dependence. Just a little something to help get by tough days.

Lmaaaao This cracked me up because how true it is. Went to a college majority was white kids.

white kids in college will get you every time.
i first did LSD when i was a freshman in college.
i've probably done it about 10-12 times.

i've never had a bad trip but there is usually a point in the trip when i start to do some serious self evaluation of myself.
i'll deconstruct myself during this time and it is emotionally and psychologically painful.
the trick is to remind myself that nothing is different in my life now than from 5 hours ago....then i put myself back together and have a good time.

years ago, i was going through some tough times emotionally and was having trouble dealing with some things.
i happened to come across a tab of LSD around this time.
my girl went out for the night and i took that as an opportunity to do some deep diving into my mental under the influence of LSD.

to be clear; i took the LSD with the express intent of doing a lot of thinking about things that were not pleasant.
i decided to clean the apartment as i thought about things and equated problems in my life with whatever task was at hand.
every time i started cleaning a new part of the apartment, i would tackle another problem in my head.

i made some breakthroughs that night.
it was a unique experience.

visuals....

like someone else here said; trees in the wind are fukking crazy.
a simple white wall will be seem like it's covered in water that is cascading down from the ceiling.
sometimes walls breath in and out like a balloon being blown up and deflated very slowly.
brick walls become a beautiful geometric symphony.
looking at your hands is crazy.

turn off the lights in the room and play with an incense stick or some little LED light....trails are one of the best parts of the visuals.
me and my boys would take turns putting on light shows for each other.

have fun and be safe, psychonauts!
