Agreed. I think they both have one near-classic standup apiece (Laugh At My Pain and Pimp Chronicles)
The only reason I'd give Kevin a SLIGHT edge is that I think he's funnier in movies

Kevin Hart is an up and coming comedian who grew up with Lil JJ
Kat Williams is on another level and to ask "if" is an insult to comedy in general.
He's had tough personal issues which he believes is illuminati and I can't say that it isn't. But his body of work shouldn't be judged off of that. His standups >>> Kevins by a country mile. Let me Explain was really not very funny. It was hard to watch.
I still enjoyed it for what it was, but for that to be the highest grossing comedy movie ever? Doesn't deserve that or anything close to that. Someone said he had a higher ceiling?Kevin hasn't proven he can do MORE than the same character yet.

You see Chrissy Poo, the population keeps increasing. There are more people at one time on planet earth right now than ever before. We keep growing. So movie records break every year STILL even tho people actually go to the movies less.
Theres the internet you can blame for that
Then there's HDTV's and projectors so you can have movie experiences at home.
The absurd prices of movies also adds to those totals. Avatar made more money than Titanic, but more people went to the threaters to watch Titanic.
