Brehs, we as the gaming community NEED A third company to rise

And I mean for consoles, Steam ain't advertising to the same crew

With Nintendo not looking like they'll just blatantly ignore next gen consoles going forward and third party developers, they'll either continue appealing to a certain niche (mainly portable) or become a third party studio themselves

Sony and Microsoft can basically get away with doing whatever they want with these lineups (2016 looks a lot better tho) with no real problems. We need that third thing to spur them to actually put out things instead of promises you feel me? Exclusives shouldn't almost all be skippable and third party titles shouldn't be compromised with PC vs Console porting

i think the big two are doing a good enough job keeping each other on their toes. sony forced MS to drop the undesirable stuff they had in store for gamers almost immediately. not to mention that the PS4's entire design philosophy and price seems to be an apology for the problems of the PS3. that was that competitive pressure people are always talking about

and not to sound cold, but i think that with iwata gone, nintendo is free to try something a little different. not radically different but maybe just different enough to solve some of their problems

PS4 selling so well, Sony has no incentive to do anything. Y'all accept all of their bullshyt and empty hype with open arms, so they keep dishing it out.

But there's no Stan shyt in that post. Xbox's biggest franchises are either out or coming out this year.

Sony has not put out any of theirs yet, exclusives other than bloodborne have been trash.

At e3 they sold a bunch of hype. No improvements to PSN or the UI. Nothing coming this year.

If they can "win" e3 by showing 2 multiplats that are at least 3 years away, then why would they sell anything else other than hype?
