next time a fight pop off....pause for a 30 seconds and set the ground rules...like "only boxing"...then proceed with the fight...

:mjlol:

"when I was of age"...get the fukk outta here....you must have been choked out before.....:mjlit:

It ain't about setting ground rules beforehand. In a fight, everybody already knew what time it was. Anything else was some extra shyt. But by your logic, bringing a gun to a fist fight should be NBD then, since it's no holds barred and excessive force is always on the table. And really if that's the case why fight at all? Just stab or shoot the nikka from a distance and call it a day.

nikka please...aint nobody said anything about a gun

a fair one on one....and since the beginning of time they have went down to the ground...the clinch is normal behavior in the heat of a fight

Dudes who "box" overrate their skills.

Boxing is obviously effective but if you ain't training regularly, or wasn't a trained fighter before what makes you think you're getting an automatic knockout? :usure:

I mean for fukks sake even in boxing matches they use a clinch as defense..

well i fall into the trap of someone who trains regularly .....

any one can be beaten no one is superman.... but in saying that if a non trained fighter even managed to land a punch on me I would be ashamed....

to be honest Im if I got into a fight I wouldnt even try and knock the person out, I would be too afraid of really doing damage , i know to people who were trained in boxing who went to jail for manslaughter on both occasions the dudes were knocked out and died when their skulls hit the sidewalk...

If you want to put a person in absolute agony give them a body punch, if im fighting a dude im going to left hook him to the body ... he will be crying from the pain and he wont be getting up ..... the most painful punch in boxing

Been in bjj off an on for years and have done tournaments but doesn't real matters in a street fight. Ever fight starts standing. Plus there are no rules in street fights. None!

This! It's not smart to do bjj when you in a street fight unless you want people stomping you out

Another risk we run is breaking our hands.

this! I heard you cna break your hand punching someone

the reason why boxers wear all that heavy padding and the big gloves is not to protect the persons face, but to protect your hands

reason being is that when you learn to punch properly you punch with an amount of force that the bones in your hands arent equipped to deal with...

If I hit anyone with my bare fist in the face with full power somethings breaking, either my hand or their face .....

Yup and to add on to this...when we punch without gloves we do not have the extra weight so we are punching faster and stronger.

this :mjcry:

fukked up my hand just a month and a half ago. damn near ripped off the skin of my finger joint throwing a left hook during a fight with two nikkas jumping me while I drunk. On top of that both my thumbs were badly sprained and only now started gaining normal functionality plus my knucle skin peeled off. This is the second time fukking my hand up because in 2010 I shattered my pinky knuckle after barely missing a dude with a straight right. I won that fight but I payed the price cause Ive had shoulder problems in my right arm ever since that day :mjcry:

im a trained amateur boxer btw, even though im not active at the moment
