the black cat is my crown...
Florida looks a lot closer in both the governor and the senate race than you are making it out to be here.. The rust belt might be voting for Dems in the midterms but there's a difference in Presidential races, there will be a bigger turnout in 2020, cacs will be sure to make it to the polls..
i agree with you, but i'm thinkin' strategy.... if the dems can take the govs for wi, mi, oh or fl, and keep pa, the path for trump narrows significantly.... people don't like to talk about it but gerrymandering and voter suppression helped trump too.... if dems win these states the gop can't gerrymander and suppress votes in their favor... every dem should always vote for a dem sec of state....

now, if the dems win all of these states, that doesn't mean trump can't still win reelection... remember obama said the dems got shellacked in 2010, but he still won reelection in 2012.... but the dems have no shot at beating trump if we don't take back these states... that and winning the majority in the u.s. house are step one...

I wonder how corrupt the GAO is...
What are they doing about so many issues & gerrymandering?

This is the problem with Americans.
Everyone is complaining about gerrymandering but nobody is asking who has ownership of the role to tackle this corrupt issue?
Know who owns it then make it an election issue!!!

Nobody understands how democracy works it seems. Nobody is doing anything actionable.

No, it really doesn't. Gillum's been up between +1 and +12, but has a +5, two +6s, a +7, and a +8 IIRC in the last month of polling, including that +12. You're wrong about it being that close at all.

Also, your ideas about bigger turnout from the GOP side ignores that they got as massive a turnout as they could muster in 2016 and lost the raw popular vote for POTUS by 3M people. It also ignores that the midwestern states traditionally vote blue, voted for Obama twice, and almost immediately started to turn back blue after a year of Trump fukking around and announcing his tariff plans.

You're also ignoring that FL was barely lost in 2016 what was the best possible effort the GOP can put forth in GOTV. Look, they just don't have the numbers to beat the Democratic Party if both party's voters are enthusiastic, which is why you're seeing an enthusiastic GOP get swamped in these midterms in the House. GOP excitement to vote in these midterms is level with other years, but Democratic excitement is up +15 points - it's looking like 2006-level excitement. We all remember what happened in 2006...and then again in 2008 when the GOP kept fukking up.

Breh America has been heading towards fascism for at least two decades or more...

Since after the war. We horded actual Nazis into American think tanks/Grass Roots/Foundations.. that influenced policy from Presidential Admins.. such as Reagans. Precedes the Heritage Foundation.

Both political parties are both giving money to the same people

I honestly believe that every thing that is happening was predestined to happen to lead to the end of the world.

Hell, even before the war American's were loving the Nazi's. So many GOP talking points when it comes to labor, unions, etc, are straight from the Nazi playbook. If it wasn't for Adolf going crazy and attacking other European nations, history would be a whole lot different

It will be validation and vindication of "Trumpism" in the United States. Instead of shying away from this type of politics, more Republicans will embrace it and win on these politics.

This is why I say people who wish for impeachment of Trump and think all will be right with the world are also foolish. It allows him to be matyred and also does nothing to kill the brand of politics. The only true remedy to the situation is for a full repudiation of it in the ballot box. At this rate, i'm not sure that will happen, at least to the degree Democrats feel it should. At least in the states that matter when it comes to presidential politics.

That's probably not going to happen. A lot of people are really into ruining the lives of others and the country.

Then again, the GOP did fukk up so much that we ended up with a black president...for two terms. It's hard to tell anything about what this country will do at the ballot box sometimes.
