I was born and raised in East Oakland. Went to Elmhurst and Castlemont and yea Charles Cosby is from Brookfield Village 9800. It's changed man because of the gentrification. Very expensive but the bay area is absolutely beautiful. Nothing beats overlooking the San Francisco skyline at night from Grizzly Peak. Some of the best Mexican food, weather and views but the cost of living is insane. We moved to Georgia and went back end of 2016. We were in southern California though. Nicca that gas was 4.00 on Coronado island smh. But the bay area is my home and always will be. There is nothing like it. If you go to Oakland, stay around the downtown area. Since gentrification started that shyt has totally changed. West Oakland was like the Harlem of the West coast with the history of civil rights, jazz and the overall culture. Hit San Francisco. If I knew you personally I'd put you on to my baby bro and his homies. They get out around the bay a lot and I'm not talking about no nicca shyt either

No everyone is moving east. Well has been moving east for years now. Like Pittsburgh Antioch Tracy and so on. Bart takes you everywhere so having a car aint that big of a deal n its free. Well for me it is.
It Cost too much fukking $ to live in The City. Plus they building the warriors Arena downtown.

Nah, hell nah. Black folks down south embrace black culture more imo. There aren't a lot of black folks in the bay area remember that. They are either moving down south or out to contra Costa county because of affordability. The bay has a bit of a southern influence especially when niccas was wearing dreads and gold teeth .
