Honestly it shouldn't be a big deal unless duke is really insecure. I know this girl that still have birthday cards/gifts from an ex boyfriend from high school. When I asked why she said she doesn't throwaway things that people give her. It makes sense things like that overtime gain what we call sentimental value.
