When I bought a car last year, I had to wait a few days to get the money because my credit union has a $1000 ATM withdrawal daily limit. I literally had to travel to the meet-up spot with cash in a brown lunch paper bag (That I hid in a backpack of course).

What's the proper way of paying cash for a used vehicle from a private seller OR a used car dealership?
