I'm just going over the titles I want to buy later this year and it seems like it's a bunch of titles I want but not necessarily need as I already have an abundance of titles right now that I need to get through.

Off the top of my head, I want:

Destiny
DriveClub
LBP3
Bayonetta 2
Smash Bros Wii U
Persona 4 Arena:Ultimax
GTA V next gen

That's $420!!!!

The ones in bold I am definitely getting day 1 without a shred of doubt. I didn't bold destiny yet as I pretty much got some of it's cost down with money on my PSN account.

Driveclub I want day 1 but I'm thinking I can play with the PS+ version for a while and wait till I can snag it off a deal. Plus the weather patch isn't going to be there day 1 anyway.

LBP3 is another game I want but ehh I can wait.
Bayonetta 2 seems like it would be better off as a rental.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax can wait as well as GTA V since that's a PC purchase and I've learned my lesson on copping PC games day 1 and having to deal with possible issues.

I wish all these titles were on PC, it'd make things much easier. I'd just wait for the inevitable sale.

Japan, but from the 989
ummmm...Save some money at the end of each month with your goal being $420. When you reach $420 you should be able to buy all those games for less than $420. If you catch my drift. Or at least wait for Black Friday or After Christmas sales...even check out Rapestop, Craigslist, Ebay.

Put them hoes on reserve and whenever you have the money pay on them. As soon as a game is announced I check in at Gamestop to see if I can reserve it. shyt done got to the point where they tell me the new shyt I can reserve when I pay on other shyt. Did this with Madden and had it paid off last month

There was a thread on here a few months ago about preordering. I think it's an awesome idea because it allows you to pay little by little for games until they're released. I have the same problem as you right now: my backlog is vicious as fukk. I have a backlog of Ps3 and Wii U games, plus eshop and PSN games. I preordered the Ps4 destiny bundle and so I'll have another system that will collect games this fall! I currently want Borderlands Prequel, Assassin's creed rogue, Assassin's creed Unity, Dragon Age Inquisition, Hyrule Warriors, and maybe FarCry 4. My plan is to take about $120 and put like 20 to 40 dollars down on all that stuff and just keep paying 20 dollars at a time so that I only have to pay half for each game.
Be broke and buy trash games and needless remakes brehs :heh:

I'm cutting back on games this year and trying to buy less games in the same genre.

Destiny is the game I'm most looking forward to so I might not buy the MCC on release because I don't need two space shooters.

Still deciding on what sports game I should buy. Most of my friends play 2k, but I enjoy fifa a lot. Probably wait for black Friday price drop on one of them.

I'm just not seeing the point of paying 60$ for game straight out of release anymore.

I got like 21000 power up points at GameStop though so I should see what I can get with that lol. Probably a dollar off coupon.

Patience is key...stop buying games day 1 @ full price. I bet money you have a backlog of games to hold you over until price drops.

Gamefly is also a great option.

I make enough money to buy the games I want with and they don't effect my finances. My problem is i keep buying games and adding them to my backlog and by the time I get around to playing them I could have got them for half of what I paid. An example is I bought God of War 3 on release day and to this day I still haven't played it. Game can easily be had for $10 but I paid $60.
