Work in HR/staffing for public sector. We’ll send out notices to interview for engineering jobs to about 200 or 300 candidates and only get six responses.

Not sure what's going on.
Y’all benefits are ass and y’all don’t really wanna hire em

I'm curious what the issues are but people don't talk about working conditions and being treated like shyt by employers. Since Covid, I noticed when I pick up food workers are spending a lot of time working on online/phone orders while customers are waiting. On top of that, restaurants are not hiring more to keep up with the demand.

It’s be interesting to see stats on people of retirement age who were still working pre and post covid

I’m only assuming a large percentage of the older population decided to give up work for more family time

Initially I think people retired….once work from home started booming they came back.

Once that slowed down is when you start to see the increase in retirements
