I'd go with Spanish. More people speak it in the U.S., especially in New York. Italian is similar so you'll be able to learn that easier. French shouldn't be much different. Just knowing all those languages in nyc gives you an advantage already.

About to take up Spanish myself.. Esp living in Montgomery County,MD...where it seems like 70% of the population is Hispanic.

Only for Foreigners who don't speak English. Matter of fact( somebody can correct me if Im wrong ) I think over in India, speaking English is one of their educational requirements.

If there was a language we would ever have to learn, it'd be Japanese.

Spanish. It's more common in the States than French. And a bit easier to learn too I think. I really wanna learn how to speak French too though. I'm gonna practice it sometime next year.

You move to the south and you can get anywhere from 15 - 35% more money for knowing how to speak spanish for any type of corporate job...
