Yeah out here in Jamaica I had friends and we all rolled together. We were zoned to the same Jr. High school, and since we were all from the same neighborhood we were all cool with each other. Unfortunately it was during the same time everybody wanted to be a crip; So all of us joined to be cool and popular you know? So after we joined, we did what crips do, we jumped people who annoyed us and played spades and Crazy eights during lunch. It wasn't until 8th grade when one of our boys James got his ass whopped so badly ( By bloods), that we decided
this ain't for us. Unfortunately some of them stayed in the set heavy; and the rest of us just bounced.
Fast forward our High school years and a decade after that. Me and my boy Jaquan ( Brooklyn college graduate), are the only one with college degrees and careers. Unfortunately we all didn't make it. I've lost three friends to murders, two are in jail, and the rest are just " Stuck in the hood". But I do want to give one of my guys (marcom) credit. He's trying to change his life now that He's having his first child.
