Jeezy's run was WAY bigger and thats not a slight to Future, but everybody in the streets was bumping 101 outta their cars, houses, etc etc.

nikkas stayed quoting lines off that album back in high school lmao.....Man, I miss those days :mjcry:.

Jeezy's movement was so big, schools started banning the Snowman T-Shirts once they knew the meaning. I remember when my cousin came to school wearing the fake snowman chain and the assistant principle took it from him, put in his drawer and promised to give it back to him at the end of the day.
Til this day I don't even know if he gave it back...alot of shyt got confiscated :mjlol:

:dead: I forgot about that.

Jeezy and its not close.

Futures run is more on par with 08-09 Gucci.

extacly.... Seem like every other week me and my nikkas ask who's run was better future's now or gucci 08-09. Who u think had the better run?
:patrice: IDK. I didn't really bump Gucci Mane like I did with Future, Young Jeezy, or even T.I. Only select hits, guest features, & Album/Mixtape tracks from Gucci.

It's hard to say, rap or southern rap especially has a much longer commercial reach than it had in 05. Every little suburb kid and girl knows Future and his international reach is strong but that's also due to the fact that he has dropped songs like never end, turn off the lights etc for 5 years already.

Jeezy however had top 5 records with Big Meech and Calvin Klein in the video :mjlol:. But it still felt very hood and hiphop exclusive. While Future and all these new rappers from Big Sean to whoever are a lot more pop cause hiphop is more pop/accessible.

jeezy had MySpace. :manny:
Lol at Jeezy having MySpace?

He had clubs and smack dvd. Dude was probably the last rapper to get on Instagram and Twitter

Jeezy w/o a doubt. I remember my boy picking me up from Hartsfield and taking me to the closest gas station that sold mixtapes and told me I had to buy it. I knew it was serious then. I was never ready once Air Forces came out my 3 15s :wow:

Both great, but there was literally a summer where every single car that was blasting music was playing trap or die mixtape :blessed:

jeezy easily.

future is cool for what he does, but lets be reality. hes a glorified novelty act. hes just lucky that he blew at a time where mainstream rap had already become a complete joke to the point where he doesn't even have to rap.
