There are supposedly more bike lanes coming in my city and I'm thanksful. I get that the roadway is for bikes too but goddamn if it isn't annoying driving behind a dude peddling his hardest but still getting nowhere.

Folks said it, but check your state laws. It would suck to get a ticket.
:mjlol: i only see cacs wearing a helmet
act like a helmet is gonna save your life if you get hit by a car brehs :heh:
Don't know if I would've died, but my helmet saved me from some damage. I would've hated for my head to look like what my helmet looked like.

I recently fell on my bike hitting a pothole on a green light. Luckily I didn't get hurt too much. I usually wear hats when I ride, but I need to invest in a helmet asap. In Ohio helmets are optional, but the way some of these fools drive here you really need a helmet.

shyt is fun. Definitely a thrill, but not worth your life

What's a good price point where you start to see quality bikes?
I think I might buy one this summer @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy!

Breh these got damn bike are so expensive :whew:

The principle of the matter keeps stopping me from buying one. Bike I thought I wanted was 2200:why:

I'll snatch one up as soon as I come across one I want on Craigslist.

always wear a helmet. i have been in multiple wrecks due to bad drivers, hit by cars whose drivers weren't paying attention, flipped off my bike because some driver either didn't signal or stopped super-fast for no reason and they save me every time. i have felt my helmet hit the ground and thanked my lucky stars that i had one on my head.

I have only been hit once, and it was a car who came out of a parking garage while not paying attention. they were only going like 5mph, so I really didn't get injured, but that was an eye-opener regardless.

Wear the helmet bruh. I grew up not riding one but its worth it now that you are an adult.

My uncle rides miles everyday and had never fallen until some dude texting pulled out in front of him causing him to fly over the hood of the car and land directly on his head and my uncle was doing at least 20mph. Cops and EMT said that helmet saved him from being in the hospital or dead easily.

If you are going to be mountain biking you will defintely fall and bust that ass.

I think DC has a law for it. Also, street lanes are dedicated to bikers.

If I don't have a helmet on then I'm straight riding the sidewalk. Gotta protect my cabbage.

As for the "goofy" factor, everyone wears them here so it becomes second nature.
