He slipped with the Giants, but came back wearing the 45 with the Cards.

The simple cure? Gloves

He figured out wearing gloves helped him grip the ball better after injuring his thumb.

That game he had against the Packers in the '09 playoffs was RIDICULOUS:wow:

I've never seen a QB that hot in a playoff game.Had more TD's than incompletions.

Rodgers killed it in that game, to----but Kurt was on some other shyt. That's what I liked about Kurt, his game elevated in the post season when it mattered most.He might not have "the drive" or that one big play like Montana to Taylor, but as far as consistency, on a game to game basis, he might be the best post season QB i've ever seen

How you win an MVP throwing 22 interceptions:dwillhuh:
How about a 73 yard td pass with less than 2 minutes left in the Super Bowl? He won it on account of 4,800 yards, 36 td passes, and the rams being the leagues best offense with a 14-2 record.

i can see the 01 bowl game being used against his for two INT's but the 09 bowl game was not his fault.

:wtf: His redzone pick six at the end of the first half turned out to be the difference in the game. It's amazing how crucial fukk ups stick to certain players and straight slide off others.

As others have said, him falling off a cliff in the middle of his career is the reason he's not talked about more.

And the refs fukked up 4 different ways that play too. One ran in front of boldin which removed him from running down Harrison, will gay yanked warner away by his shoulder pad in front of the play (holding), Woodley shoved Tim Hightower in the back right in front of the play (block in the back), and when breaston and Fitzgerald tackled Harrison, the ball hadn't crossed the goal line. That just one case of many that game where the refs got their Super Bowl 40 on.

Warner had that weird little stretch in his career where he was irrelevant and looking washed up which makes people sleep on him. But the first three years and his last three were tremendous. But the five seasons in between where he looked like some trash is what some people hold against him.

And none of that happens if Warner doesn't throw a pick in the redzone at the end of the half. We can point to other factors including officiating and the play of teammates and playcalling etc. that impact a variety of plays and games but people only want to do so when it's a guy they like.

That's true, but the refs did the Cardinals no favors on that play. There was two block in the backs against the Steelers on that INT return.....Refs have a knack for swallowing their whistles when it comes to the Steelers in the Superbowl.

Yeah but people need to make up their minds. When certain teams benefit it's a problem. When others benefit it's :manny:. Beyond all that Kurt still made a game changing fukk up.
