your daughter is 17 and she's going to the prom. you let her pick her own dress and you haven't seen it yet. so her date knocks on the door. what would you do if she came down the stairs in this:

twist: what if your son brought his prom date to the house, and she was wearing that dress. what would you say/think? :mjpls:

Well, it's like this, there's a big probability that you, the father, are paying for the prom dress so there's an expectation that you want to see the dress after it is purchased. There's no way you aren't going to not preview the dress. 1. You hope it is nice and pretty and worth the money you spent on it, and 2. it is not too daring. And by daring, I mean slutty.
There would be no way I would approve of that dress from the get-go.

I don't have a son. Let's say I go to a restaurant and I see a bunch of kids going to the prom that evening, but they go to the same restaurant to have dinner. I've seen it. Everyone happened to be dressed nicely, including the girls. If one of them was wearing that or something like it, I would think the parents of that girl are careless and irresponsible.
