I had around $40K in loans and looking back I say yes it was worth it since I have paid it off. Interest eventually became 2.25% and it didn't effect me that much paying on the loan. But if the interest rate was higher or if I had more than $60K I would feel different.

Yeah, I had scholarships though.... they didn't total the full cost of attendance, but that's much better than what it could have been.

Especially as an OoS student.
