I rock my beard like so:

I'm tired of my trimmer giving me an uneven cut. What are yall using? Recommend some good trimmers that can give a low cut.

Explain how usin the talc.

You know how the barber uses the talc (your barber might not do this but probably half of all black barbers I met does this).

As a finisher like takes a lil spread it in his palm, then scrape the edge of the Andis in it then cuts your line. As a result a thin tracing of talc is left tracing your hairline.

But instead of using the andis I get like a business card or a metro card or sumn and do the same thing. Once I get it right and symmetrical I cut the line.


Im growing my hair out so I just do my hairline and facial hair. Havent been to the barber in over a year.

I have a guard. It's still not an even, cut. Plus, a guard only works for certain lengths. If I want it shorter, I can't rock a guard.
