Brehs You ever think what would Micheal Vick's legacy have been without the dog fighting.

I wonder how his career would've gone if San Diego didn't make that trade with Atlanta in 2001

Vick was really the last superstar that Atlanta's had and he perfectly imbodied the city's culture like Iverson did for Philly. Maybe the city had too may distractions for him, if he went to a city not like Atlanta he might've had better habits and work ethic out the gate. Favre ran into the same problem in Atlanta but cleaned himself up once he got to Green Bay

But then again there's superstars that have balled out in LA. Chicago, NY and Miami so I don't know how much I buy that theory

Top five most electrifying football player ever.

Michael Vick was must-watch tv.
That ended up being his legacy anyway.

Mike Vick is probably, still, considered the most entertaining player in NFL history.

I don't think, without the dogfighting though, that he ever becomes some great player or leads a team to a SuperBowl or anything like that. If anything, sitting out and getting with Andy Reid ended up making him a better actual quarterback.

At the same time, I'm not sure if Vick goes somewhere else it's quite the same as it was in Atlanta. And Mike probably would've found fukkery anywhere he went, but maybe being on the West Coast and completely further away from Newport News would've done him a lot of good. But is a more mature Michael Vick still the same entertaining player? Could've been like when Jason Williams got with Hubie Brown, not the same exciting playstyle but a much better, more cerebral overall guard.

Eastside Atl -
Bobby Petrino was going to do fukking damage with that muthafukker and use him in ways not seen until 2012 they would have dominated

I think this is a possibility but Mike probably would've gotten clapped up and got a major injury anyway. His playing style while in Atl was too reckless to last i.e. RG3.

Glad we got to see a more cerebral Mike in Philly.

Falcons gave him leeway to not put work in. Did not structure around him enough.
Look here the facts are out there.
Falcons missed out on Brett Favre traded him away, and before that he was doomed to be a bust. Now he's a Superbowl Champ Hall of fame.
Failed on Michael Vick
Went to the SB and are responsible for the biggest lost in history.
Falcons are just a bad organization all throughout.

He gave himself leeway not to put the work in. Nobody credited the Falcons structure with getting the team to the playoffs or beating GB or getting to the chip game, so we aren't gonna turn around and put his bad habits on the org. That said, Falcons ain't exactly the Pats no doubt but they have also been to 2 SBs in the last 20 years and Vick wasn't on either team. Matt Ryan is no Peyton but he's clearly put work in so let's cut the excuses and call shyt what it is.

Maybe once or twice .. But IMO its likely injuries would've done him in, he's got kind of a slender frame and there's only so long that can hold up to NFL level hits
