I don’t get the hype for this dude. He can’t sing and nothing about him grabs me. Just another name in. the myriad of post HOB toxic weeknd clones like tiller, 6lack, Lucky Daye, etc. As much as I dislike it, there’s a reason Weeknd moved on from that style.

Lot of old Timbaland Homage here sound wise. Hope it works out for him but I like it and feel it works with his voice.

I know Moment of Your Life was the single and I listened when he dropped it. However hearing it again, he needs more push behind it, it could be big for him.

The funny thing is, 20 years ago Tim would have called these producers beat biters.

I'm not saying its bad - I like this style of music, but its not amazing either. More songs will stick than his last album.

It’s mid but I’ll keep a few songs from it for sure.

The 2nd half of the album is better than the first, but this is a very unfocused and lazy effort overall

Brent's the only R&B artist I see getting away with doing one verse and hook and ending the song, just a lack of effort

He's also not energetic enough to be on these timbo beats, but that sound was abandoned halway through the project anyway. Not sure what the vision is, if there was one.

There's good here and the bad isn't even all bad, just wasted potential. But that's a microcosm of his entire career so far so I shouldn't be surprised
