I'm talking about talent from outside promotions like Bret. Sid got over but had no impact as the company was already too far gone. Raven was over but just a mid card act.

warrior was over.

there really weren't that many big names that came over after the 1st NWO wave that were expected to be main eventers.

bret is the only one that flopped.

Bret was over, we established this at the start of the thread. He didn't make an impact because no one they brought in made an impact from that point on. The only guys who made impacts after the main NWO wave in 1996 were DDP in 1997/1998, and Goldberg in 1998, both homegrown stars that caught fire. Warrior popped a rating and then had a disaster run and vanished for 15 years. You're really going to argue that he made an impact?

well for starters, I was just talking about the "going over" part. if this is about impact, you can argue that bret didn't really make an impact in the WWF either. are we gonna blame the WCW for that too?

and YOU established that he was over. there is no WE.
he was never over as a face.
he got over enough as a heel later on, and that was after the roster began to deteriorate.

warrior was over the entire time he was there, regardless of how you rank his performance and/or booking.
