Absolutely no filter :russ:

I mean... Bret's right again.

Chops are not a real offensive move. Nobody would do chops in real life. Ric Flair used to do chops to get a reaction from the crowd (and because the rest of his offense sucked) and going forward everyone does chops to get a reaction and honor Flair. But if that is the bases of your offense, your offense don't look real.

:francis:.....okay let's see it from Bret's perspective.

Bret's era of wrestling was more of wizardry to make the crowd lose their shyt, despite the wrestler not feeling a damn thing but the bump of the canvas. As much as I love Gunther and enjoy his work, he's representing a era that's a Ying and yang. You want to make the matches believable, but at the same time you are chopping the flesh away and doing stiff moves just to promote bloodlust, and then what?

Thus, why he spent his time finding peace in making food, and treating wrestling like a job. With a job, you gotta just roll with the punches (literally). The indie shyt can only go so far but the hospital, retirement, or the grave.

One of the best examples of less means more is Bobby Eaton. My man used to be called "a day off" by Mick Foley because of how safe he worked. You can work both safe and be a threatening force in the making. Bret used to take bumps that would make the marsupial pray for his health, but mens would take a shower and go onto the next one because he didn't want to be in harms way.

If wrestlers learned the matter of timing, ignore the bloodlust from the marks, and focus on an less is more approach, I guarantee you that most of the roster will hold it down, and they would have to do a storyline to write them off with a fake injury.

Bust sadly, that will never happen because mofo marks and stinky ass sicko fans want wrestlers to be like Mick Foley with Low Ki wrestling moves, but quick to say RIP when they end up working themselves in the grave.

Yeah yeah. Go watch some 1950s wrestling where dudes were TEEING OFF on each other. 1950s/60s French Catch has some of the crazy stiffest forearms and uppercuts I've ever seen in pro wrestling. Hit hard as fukk but in safe places has been part of the game forever.

Oh trust, I remember them video clips on ESPN back in the day :damn: .Dudes would be murdering at them chests and slamming fists at certain parts of the body. Yet, they managed to have hour to 2 hour matches because of reasonable workrate.

HitGOAT could easier go 30 minutes off GP because his moveset didn't cause internal damage to the organs.

Crazy, love Davey but idk what he's done without Bret that was close to that good. I'm sure she just loved him so much she looked to the left when he was on that shyt and her memory of it is off or distorted. It's not like Bret is the only one telling those stories about him

That's also Bret's little sister though, she knows more about Bret and his tendencies than any of us, messy shyt :francis:

Davey had a real good match with Shawn Michaels at King of the Ring 1996 and also with Owen Hart on a 1997 Episode of RAW

People hating on Davey because of brets bitter ramblings.

But if everyone wants to go there bulldogs>>>>>>>>>>>>hart foundation

Davey had his demons for sure
So did bret....that stroke didn't jump from nowhere....

He needs to stop with that as he loved coke too

I say that as a huge fan of brets in ring work
He had his matches worked out and it was great
Heeled on flair see one see all
See 4 of brets see em all

Hating on cenas 5 moves of doom
All of us could plot brets comeback with a minute thinking

Not hating thats how it goes
Bret thinks everything he did was just art
Nah you had your formula too.

Though to ge fair one of the only I never seen with that was Harley or Dory so...

Bret always has had an inferiority complex

Because if Curt was never hurt......

Also couple times he was a transitional champ

And it irks him

All that aside genuinely he's one of my favourites of all time

But his opinion of himself is too much

Bret the best transition champ there is was and ever will be

Also when he was on top his best funds was Owen and davey
His family

But everyone hates on the scumbag kliw coz the worked with their boys

Don't say european tours as the people were starving to see wwf because of how hot hogan made it.

a starving man will think a cracker and water is the gest meal ever.

bret was incredible in what he could do in the ring
but got pushed to the top because of circumstances
was top tier mid card at best

But because of situations he was pushed 1

It EASILY was tito if if tito was younger

And if Curt wasn't hurt he'd have never got even the first run
