I remember turning to Raw after Nitro went off the air. I really thought Bret was going to win the title that night. The best thing was Bret was right from a kayfabe standpoint and in real life. When everyone started fighting at the end.

Now that I think about it it seemed like almost every Raw and Nitro in 1997 ended with a brawl. I still can't believe Raw didn't get at least one or two ratings wins that year. The WWF was on fire that year.
