those two things aren't really connected but bret hart IS the biggest mark for himself of all time, outside of maybe CM Punk, and realistically bret hart STILL thinks he's a hero to dying 6 year olds and thats why he told this story..

I'm not arguing whether Bret is a mark for himself (I agree with that to an extent, for the record). That's a whole other thread and it's been discussed many times before. Interesting that we have a video of a story Bret is telling about Hall, yet the thread is already starting to turn into another "let's shyt on Bret" thread

I'm talking about the hypocrisy of having a problem with Bret bringing up a negative story about Hall, when Hall had already clowned Bret just for having his own personal 'shrine'. Then you wanna talk about who it effects? How many wrestlers are gonna have a problem with another wrestler just keeping some memorabilia of himself, as opposed to another wrestler refusing a dying kid's autograph/signing their card?

Nobody knows what really went down or the context of the situation. This is just Bret's version of it. It may or may not be 100% factual.

Not tryna to cape for anyone you could think what you wanna think and yea maybe Scott Hall is a scumbag in other aspects of life but I find it hard to believe he would turn down a 6 year old's dying wish.

But hey... he is the bad guy. :manny:

Bret being a mark for himself is public knowledge; all you have to do is listen to the guy talk.

This thing with Hall should have remained among the wrestlers.
