I'll let y'all but I doubt Bret said it in those exact words. The ladder match was discussed on the Shawn vs. Bret BR/DVD. Everyone who is up with early 90's WWF knows that they had the ladder match exclusive for Coliseum video. He probably meant that everyone gives Shawn credit for it but I doubt he outright said that Shawn stole it. That would make no sense.
