Notice how the former wrestlers who point out why Roman isn't getting over never blame the fans.
But yet people here think they know better.![]()

They had him do his right before the Shield started.
Roman Reigns has the absolute least amount of swag and charisma of anyone on the roster.

You can just look at the way dude dresses and how he come across in public that hes not that alpha male guy that Vince/HHH think he is and hes not able to fake it. In any other era, he'd just have a manager and go from there. A heel turn wouldnt do shyt for him
FactsA heel turn would do everything for him, but not because it's the best decision for him.
In the IWC, the sweetest joy next to getting p*ssy is being right. They love feeling like they were right and will support anything that they've "predicted" or insisted upon. If Roman were to turn heel, the people that booed him would cheer him and the people that cheered him would still cheer him (a few might boo).
People would want to show they approve of the change so much that they'd cheer him and since it's hard to build a true, likeable (and interesting) babyface in this era (since good guys winning is cliche and, thus, "uncool"), we'd end up back in this cycle where they'd want his baby face adversary to go over, reign for a bit, then turn heel.
Ehh, everyone acts like him beating Sheamus got him over with the crowd
Wrong
All it really was was people glad Sheamus dropped the title
They were booing him damn near a week or two later
