Hypocrite Brett Favre calls out Texans’ Deshaun Watson for requesting trade, even though he forced Packers to deal him to Jets

Speaking to Minty Bets of Yahoo Sportsbook, former NFL quarterback Brett Favre said that even though he played in a different era, he would let things work out on its own instead of taking Watson’s approach of trying to force a trade.

“I’m kind of old school,” Favre said. “You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it and let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong. I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”

Of course, the irony here is that Favre forced his way out of Green Bay, briefly retiring in 2008 to compel the Packers to get rid of him. Green Bay traded Favre to the New York Jets for one completely forgettable season. The following year, Favre left the Jets for the Minnesota Vikings for his final two years in the NFL.

Maaaaaaaan, fukk Brett Favre.

This the same dude who criticized Javon Walker for trying to renegotiate his contract only for him to tear his ACL in the first game of the 2005 season, which was the EXACT scenario he was trying to avoid by getting a new deal.

Packers' Walker out for season with ACL injury

I could go on for days about how much of a piece of shyt Brett Favre is.

These dudes hate the entire concept of black men having the power to select who they play for. No player in their right mind would waste their career in a trash heap organization if they had the opportunity to leave. Watson will get his wish, eventually. The only question is how far does Houston want to play this out. Do they want to wait until training camp and deal with Watson not showing up? Or do they want to trade him now, get picks for this year, and rebuild.
