Sexy?! You guys need to access to better looking buppies
Symone is also trash
I forgot what she said that rubbed me the wrong way
But the fact she went from Bernie to Biden shows she's a mercenary with no beliefs
I usually only like ghetto thots but brie does something to me
I’m honestly embarrassed how attracted I am to Bri
I feel you beloved, but once you deal with the bougie buppies you never go back.
Nicole Ellis is more my speed on that bougie tip.
I lump her in with Kyle kulinsky’s school of well-meaning but woefully naive (possibly on purpose) lefties. That’s a notch above the Jimmy dore grifter class in my book. Both are unhelpful and sometimes harmful to the ideology they espouse, but I think the dore crew’s principles are purely decided by clicks and profit whereas bri and Kyle at least try to stick to principles but just wade way out of their depth with some topics and play themselves.
I get where youre going w this. Kyle is legitimately dumb that sometimes stumbles onto the right take. I think Bri is pretty intelligent, but also too arrogant to understand how off the mark she is on some things.
I watched the clip with the non Bree Newsome. I am not a fan of Brianna Grey Joy, but what exactly are you upset about in this clip?
A big issue with progressive media is that these people have no connection with the working class, like Briahna.
I don't think most of these people are grifters tho. I think they believe everything they are saying.
Spend 5 minutes with working class whites on a social topic and see you have to be an idiot to not see why they can't unite with Black people
That white lady has no point
Cool white dude at my job, but hes when talking about how DPS students have no respect for property when it comes to them breaking covid virtual computers
They dont have to say it, for you to get how they feel about Black people
And that's the average white working class white person
They feel no need to cover it up unlike the other classes of whites
You can spend 5 minutes with black working class people and realize they don't agree with you on social topics and it will be hard to unite them with other black people. This isn't saying much.
I think the issue is you don't rate class identity as anything. The problem with that thinking is you unite no one. The negros that are on MSNBC and CNN claiming to speak for the black community have no idea of the interests of black working class.
If you working class and poor in America, you want the same things, regardless of race, even down to policing.
People on mainstream media don't speak for working class Black ppl, I agree
But whites aren't going to unite with working class Black ppl, because whiteness will trump all
And you don't even know my view on social topics
The bolded is my point. Its not saying much and most of us have very different social topical beliefs.
But I bet you we will find more commonalities on saying "I want to visit the doctors and not pay an arm and a leg," "I want to earn more money at my job," "I want a good home to live," "I wish these utility bills weren't so high," "my boss is an a$$hole," and many other things that will materially benefit our lives.
We can't just write off people and think the world will get right by doing that. It doesn't work that way because none of us benefit.
I think all three of us are tapping into the same main thought which is that the types we're describing are detached. They're not having these conversations outside of pretty silo'ed channels and it ends up with them earnestly believing some pretty warped ish.
And then their inability to connect "radical" ideas with real-world experience gets conflated so that the radical ideas are dismissed as detached and unrealistic, when it's usually just the mechanism they're pushing...example: Medicare for All is a good idea, but Force the Vote seemed foolish and others used it to grift even though Bri really seemed sincere. That general strike twitch marathon a couple of weeks back is another example...some well-meaning folks and some grifters taking advantage of 'em.
