Doesnt really make sense, maybe im having trouble deciphering it. Because the white person would be less likely to go for it imo. And that white person in this analogy would be the white liberal. Just because they dont go for the 100$,doesnt mean they dont say the word n*gger for free. And doesnt mean they are being generous and want the black person to have it. They are playing the long game and thinking of their own self preservation.

This makes no sense. And it was a response to this comment from Nikole Hannah-Jones about Trump supporters.

"Still doesn't explain why in the US, where Black wealth is a drop compared to white and unemplyment rate remains double, Black people and most Lations and Asians did not vote for Trump."

Briahna's comment was a gross oversimplification of what motivated white Trump supporters. It tried to reduce their support to poverty or desperation, while ignoring the role of race, culture, and the fact that many Trump voters are actually well-off. Their support wasn't about economic anxiety, but about preserving social status and white grievance politics. That was even more apparent in the last election, especially for some union households who voted for Trump.
