I just keep going back to ESPN's TJ Quinn saying that the reason baseball waited so long to suspend A-Rod is because "they wanted a clean victory". Looks like they got the complete opposite & have turned the villain into the hero & have made one of the most storied franchises in sports look like a bumbling, conniving, inept organization.
This is laughably bad & now we get another summer where baseball's biggest storylines deal with cheating, drug use & scandals. Don't these baseball idiots ever get tired of looking stupid?

I just don't understand how baseball didn't anticipate making A-Rod the martyr & this getting ugly in the media. Are they really that arrogant to believe that the general public would embrace their version of events b/c they assume we all loathe A-Rod as much as they do?

I think pre-suspensions baseball thought the media/public pressure would force A Rod to fold and take what they were gonna give him. But he stood up for himself and now they don't have a playbook for this shyt and are fukking up majorly by just continuing the strategy.
I'm predicting A Rod gets 50 games tops.
It seems like they really were trying to bluff arod into accepting the punishment like he'd fold at the thought of getting banned for life . The player association gets a side eye if arod gets his suspension reduced and they supposedly had the most on him

I gotta say a few things 1. Lets never bring up Mo's injury every again it plagues me to this day. 2. Walter H. I think eveyone takes her words with a grain of salt but it doesnt take away from Cashman being a lame douche distraction. 3. The way the Daily News has covered this A-rod shyt has been nothing but bush, I even scanned a pic of one of there headlines for here because it was so laughable.
Have you heard Michael Kay's show ?? I get he works for the Yankees but on his espn radio show he's blatantly blaming arod and his people for the circus atmosphere. Even today Marchand came on and said arod is calling off the dogs but as far whos to blame if yu ask both sides arod would say all the leaks forced him into retaliating, to which Kay tried to say arod is doing it to stop the boos and how he doesn't want his gallea medical records opened . How does Kay know what he did with gallea??? He's just homering
