I wouldnt consider it stupid. He knows HIS price, we see the ramifications football has on those after long career stints and all the added up hits. Maybe he just knows that if he's going to continue to keep playing and putting his future at risk he better be getting HIS money's worth.

Yep same here...and i'm only 27. I remember him coming out of college and everybody was raving about em cause he had played SS and TE also in college.
