i wonder sometimes if any of these bytches remember that Torii Hunter story
i think they REALLY be believing that because they play football theyre immune to white folks racist ass shyt.
:deadmanny:
How does this tie to immunity? I think they are starkly aware of it and don’t want it to hurt them.

i dont know man.
seeing shyt like this is just bizarre to me.
I don’t get your take. It had zero to do with anything. They are very aware and feel like they can lose it all. I don’t get how it’s viewed as immunity on their part .

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
This isn't about activism anymore this is about self respect. JJ is questioning their manhood at this point.

No. It's about players being pressured to make a choice they shouldn't have to make. Player are being called out that didn't want to kneel in the first place which is stupid.

People like Jamele Hill were opening criticizing black players for not being followers. If people go back to listen to what Kaepernick said last year he never asked players to protest. He wanted people to talk about social issues. Which nobody is talking about.

And he also said he understood if players were not willing to go all out. He on the other hand was ready to which included losing endorsements and his career. You can't expect every player to do that. You re not going to pay their bills and neither is people like Jamelle Hill.

Y'all nikkas have hijacked the fukking narrative and turned this into a bunch of fukkery.

Furthermore the cowboys are 2-3. nikkas need to worry about winning fukking games which is what they're paid to do right?

i think jones is full of it if he says he will sit dak or zeke if they knelt. i know they won't, but if they did hes not sitting them. he would literally be throwing away the season. they NEED to win next week.

WNBA have more to lose than anyone and they take action

not really. they make more money playing overseas. no one cares about the wnba

nfl players cant go play anywhere else, and their contracts arent guaranteed. they are always one hit away from their career being over, so they need to make as much as they can, while they can.

they trained hard all their life to play football, not be political activists. i can fully understand a player only wanting to do what they came there to do. its a shame the black community has no real leaders so we keep trying to force athletes to be our voice. if some want to do that then thats great, but those who do not should not be chastised. if you aren't out here risking your livelihood then don't criticize players for not wanting to do the same. they didnt sign up for that.

that said, they should also not be forced to stand during the anthem. that isnt a part of their job either.

Clearly he, like many other players, just want to play football, earn their living. They don't want to be social activists. I don't see why y'all holding them to that standard.

He didn't lend any credence to the notion that the protest were disrespecting the flag or the military or any of that nonsense; and he didn't shyt on anyone who does decide to protest or wants to protest, so I have no problems with his response.
