How bad will this QB class be if Teddy B doesn't declare? :heh:

Blake Bortles might end up being the first QB taken...that's if Teddy doesn't enter the draft.

Bridgewater is the clear cut #1

Then small school kids like Derek Carr, David Fales, Blake Bortles

Then the SEC clique like AJ McCarron, Zach Mettenberger (who might be the best), Aaron Murray

IMO the projects like Manziel and Braxton Miller won't cut it in the league

I think hundley is going back so leaving him off. Also Mettenberger and Murray would be top 5 but torn acls :camby:

almost there - aj mccarron, stephen morris, sean mannion, braxton miller, james franklin

1. Teddy Bridgewater - 1st Rd Grade

Bridgewater can make all the throws, call a offense from the line of scrimmage, read blitzes, mobile in the pocket and is tough as nails. Even with a shotty offensive line and no run game Bridgewater excelled all year.

2. Derek Carr - 1st Rd Grade

Playing in the MWC against weak defenses inflated some of his stats. But he has that qb gene, size, great in the pocket, strong arm and accurate as hell.

3. Johnny Manziel - Late first round/ Early second

Played in the SEC and dominated in back to back years against Alabama, increased his accuracy, rarely gets sacked, buys time in the pocket for his receivers to get open.

4. Tajh Boyd - Early - Mid Second Rounder

Short but accurate, tough but takes alot of hits, struggles to pick up blitzes and fumbles to much. Can make all the throws though.

5. David Fales - Second Round Grade

Even with the lack of talent had a tremendous year, if you watched the stanford game you saw how pinpoint accurate his arm is and how he picked up blitzes, has the size and arm strength for the next level and will be a steal for whoever drafts him.

Charlie strong needs to let him know thank you for your service but declare.

End up with a torn acl, concussion or worse.

Strong needs to hit Teddy with the Pitino quote..

Stolen from PFT on this story..

As legend has it, Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino once told a player who was thinking about leaving for the NBA, “You can go and help your family, or you can stay and help mine.”

Wow at that Pitino quote lol. That is some real talk right there man.

If you are ready....if you will be drafted high. Then go.

In the NBA I understand because one year can really turn somebody from a late first rounder to a lotto pick for instance with some seasoning. But in the NFL? nah
