his choice, but I don't agree...he's the clear cut #1 qb...next year, it's gonna be Winston....he go this year, he's a top 2 pick....he could fukk around and end up in Houston, which wouldn't be a bad thing...they got talent, just not a qb...

I hope someone talks to the homie football is the one sport where you have to strike when the fire is hot....bet you Matt Barkley regrets coming back...in the nfl if you are a top 5 prospect and get an injury they will drop you to a mid round pick...Willis McGahee is the only one I saw do otherwise.

not surprising Rick Pitino's selfish ass said that. If you're a top 2 pick, you should be gone. period. Why should teddy risk injuries just to play another year in college?
:dwillhuh: how was that quote selfish? He kept it all the way 100. A selfish coach would have been all emotional on how they're going to win a national championship and how he needs the player to be apart of that and all types of bullshyt to get him to comeback.

Stay another year so I can get a bonus check to add to my millions and "help my family". Coaches should treat their players as if it was their child. If you're a fukking guaranteed top pick then you should be gone and any coach with his player's best interest in mind should say that.

Someone needs to tell the kid he's too good for college now. His best attribute is his poise. No one that calm under fire is going to be a bust.

I took that part of the quote as him being facetious and his intent was in fact to have the player goto the NBA and get the money.

idk, the way brady framed it made it seem like he was encouraging him to come back. I just think a coach should definitively say that they should go when they're a top pick.

Do not know how you got that idea from the quote...He was encouraging the player to move on to the NBA. I'm going to be nice and just say its a Friday and your reading comprehension is normally better.

I don't think I framed it like you took it bra.

I quoted @His_Excellence_Reincar saying..

Charlie strong needs to let him know thank you for your service but declare.

End up with a torn acl, concussion or worse.

Then said Charlie needed to hit Teddy with

As legend has it, Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino once told a player who was thinking about leaving for the NBA, “You can go and help your family, or you can stay and help mine.”

Implying Teddy needs to bounce.
