I spoke with the cousin of an NFL player & he said most of them cats that leave early regret it because the League isn't what they expected. He said his cuz said it's a job and he wished he enjoyed his college life start to finish. Basically they are telling cats to wait & enjoy no responsibility and the experience over the NFL :yeshrug:
From the L'Ville message board on Scout.com

To offer a counterpoint, what about the Teddy Bridgewater that we all know, makes you so sure he cares anything proving himself or where he's picked in the draft?

Here's what we know:

Teddy does not party - can do/not do in the NFL
Teddy does not like being in the spotlight (wore a hoody everywhere around Campus his first two seasons and his teammates would have to tell people that this is their Quarterback). He can still remain as anonymous in the NFL as he is in college.
Teddy does nothing but schoolwork and football study, even when he's playing video games (uploaded our playbook to NCAA football)
Teddy cares nothing for individual success
Teddy only cares about his team and their success
Teddy does not put himself above anyone on the team
Teddy is as selfless as anyone as any QB who has ever played the game
Teddy is grateful to Louisvile and his "family" (his words) at this school
His two best friends growing up will be here next season (Eli Rogers, Michaelee Harris)
Teddy wants a National title
Say what you want about this coaching staff, but from Teddy's perspective he has full confidence in them, and loves Watson like a father - so from that it's easy to assume that Teddy knows we could have a legitimate shot a national title next year without all the schedule BS.

To me, I'm already convinced he's gone. I'll be shocked if he does come back. That said, just because he's guaranteed a lot of money and a possible starting job in the NFL, doesn't mean it's a foregone conclusion to Teddy Bridgewater. This guy is as loyal as they come.

Bridgewater is the clear cut #1

Then small school kids like Derek Carr, David Fales, Blake Bortles

Then the SEC clique like AJ McCarron, Zach Mettenberger (who might be the best), Aaron Murray

IMO the projects like Manziel and Braxton Miller won't cut it in the league
Did u put manziel in a class with Braxton miller :comeon:

He would be stupid to go back to school, this shyt is the perfect situation for him...

1. Next year he has no shot at #1 pick, this year he is a lock.

2. He's going to a playoff team thats pretty much already built to be a contender.

3. He ain't going to the Jags.

This shyt couldnt get any better.

He would be better off in Jax than Houston.

Houston replacing their HC and OC

I don't think bridgewater is going to be all that
Probably another garrard
Garrard was pretty damn good for while his he was groomed from the start he might of had a better career plus he was a runner.... Ted can run a lil but he's a pocket passer first
