The Wolves win in Ricky's return in OT vs. Dallas
104-112. It all worked out. We almost blew it, but it all worked out. We're not at full strength yet, but our most important piece is back.
Wolves now 12-9
The good:
Pek: 21 and 9, 7 offensive boards. Once we got him involved it spurred the team on early in the 3rd. All those boards felt like first downs late in a game.
AK-47: 14 and 10, 2 blocks: He won us the game in OT. Ricky wasn't out there but he was and he was active. Worth Every Penny. Shved did his thing too. Really limited Mayo.
Derrick Williams: 16 points in 18 minutes. Deserved more time because he was on point tonight. Like I keep telling everyone here, PF is not a problem.
Lastly, you knew I had to bring it up: 8 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals in 19 minutes. We were down 13 early. Rubio comes in and it becomes a rock concert. Everyone stepped up a notch with him in there. Glad he's back.
The bad:
Derek Fisher had 20 points

He almost beat us. Man that was fukkin crazy.
Dante: did not have it tonight. 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2-7 FG, and let Mayo score at will. That was a problem Rick had. I know we're decimated at the wing, but Dante couldn't stop Mayo. Shved could. Dante could not, and quite frankly, 10-15 of those minutes could have easily gone to the Caged Lion
Lastly, the Mavs capitalized off of every turnover we had. We didn't do the same against them. Missed a lot of close shots, but you know what? We got the win.
Oh, I hope Kevin Love's feeling better. Eat some chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side. Too much salt is bad for your health. Get Well Soon!
12-9. 6th in the West. 4th win in a row. 3 games over .500. Next game at Orlando and then Miami. Ricky will miss one of those 2 games because Adelman doesn't wanna use him in B2B games, so he might miss the Miami game that I'm going to

but Ricky's back and it's like he never left.
