:ohhh: Brehs I just read Luke for Shump (knicks) is in the works....

Kahn would be a god if he pulled this off :noah:

Our back court D would be :wow:

Edit:
The New York Knicks are actively seeking to trade for a backup point guard, having lost faith in Pablo Prigioni’s ability to run the team in the event Raymond Felton gets injured again, league sources tell SheridanHoops.com.

Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reported Wednesday that the Knicks had been in discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves and expressed interest in Luke Ridnour, who is on the trading block — as SheridanHoops.com reported more than a week ago.

So it's not Eric Gordon, it's not JJ Redikk, not Josh Smith.

DeRozan is possible but unlikely.

doubtful on Ross

iffy on Courtney Lee, possibly on Jared Dudley and Arron Afflalo

Personally don't think any trades are happening cause.... we're the Minnesota Timberwolves :shaq2:

Getting the W to start the second half of the season out with :yeshrug:

I cringe every time Jose Juan Diarrhea drives to the hoop or Luke Ridnour takes a shot with 20+ left on the shot clock still....

Other than dealing our backup guards there isn't a deal that has to be made now. Moving Derrick Williams can wait til the summer.

Here's what we know.

AK may opt in.
They wanna keep Pek (I won't set this in stone)
They wanna keep Bud (this I will set in stone)
Nemanja Bjelica is on the way
There's probably no chance we keep the Memphis pick (sold, traded, whatever)
Derrick and either Luke or JJ will be gone.
Highly doubt Stiemsma's option gets picked up
Possibly Gelabale and CJ return next year (CJ definitely if we let Steamer go)
Roy retires or gets bought out

C Pekovic /CJ
PF Love /Cunningham /Bjelica
SF AK /Budinger /Gelabale
SG ????? /Shved /Lee
PG Rubio /either Luke or JJ

Really our new additions will come down to what we get for DWill and Luke/JJ and what we do with our draft picks.

If the guards in the draft all get picked before us and Dario Saric is still there, stash him, stash Lucas Nogueira, and hope DWill/Luke/JJ nets us a starting guard.

you know, I've figured out a fool proof way to enjoy next season no matter what. As I watched the 3rd game of what will guaranteed be at least another 10 game losing streak, I came to a conclusion. Other than the promise of what Rubio can do, I have no want or reason to wanna keep rooting for this team. I've said before I don't care whether they move, contract, whatever, now, I might as well apply it.

82 Games to Freedom: That's the title for next year's thread. Stamped. Done. Filed and understood. Injuries? Don't care. Kahn? Won't matter. Ineffectiveness? God help them. If this team for any reason at all, I don't care what it is, death on the roster, Target Center roof caving in during the game, whatever it is, if they don't make the playoffs, I wash my hands as a fan of the team for good. I think my adult life without seeing them in the postseason is perfectly justifiable as a reason to walk away. I was watching tonight's game and I felt like I was watching New Mexico State vs. Northern Arizona; in other words I had zero investment or interest in the outcome of the game.

82 Games to Freedom. I can only be happy at the end, good or bad.

Now there's talk of Kahn not coming back, but being replaced by Flip Saunders.

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/3/3/4059486/flip-saunders-david-kahn-minnesota-timberwolves-rumors

Sid Hartman is the source, but he's not the only person who has said this.

This is the type of shyt that has this team fukked til Taylor dies. I love Flip. Best coach we've ever had, but GM? Flip was part of the Country Club too. Bullshyt.

Sid also says Rick Adelman might not come back because of the situation with his wife (I can understand that), but if Rick goes, bring back Flip as coach, not GM.
