so whats the future of this team

i dont think brandon roy will work out, its still early but its just way too painful just to watch him play. do they resign pek after the season day 1? do they trade him to keep a cap for ricky and love re-upping?

if only they signed either batum or mayo

If Roy doesn't work, he's outta here after 1 year. Shved (hopefully) takes his place.

Pek? They have no choice but to re-sign him unless they actually have a better option in mind.

Brehs, Burks from Utah is on the block ... He has only played in 5 of their 10 games this year and they are looking to move him. I would love to take a chance on this guy. The thing is though, what would you guys give up for him?

If they gave us a future pick with protection I'd give em Derrick, but they have no use for him. We're just not good trading partners considering they probably just want a better guard and we'd rather hold on to the few good guards we have (Shved especially).

I agree... I would do a heavily protected (lotto for the next 5-7 years) 1st round pick or Williams for him. If we were fully healthy we could give up a guard, but we are down to what 9 players now? Damn

Dude is 6'5-6'6 SG with a decent frame and could create his own shot and pass. I'd do it in a heart beat.

we should be back up to 12 by Wednesday hopefully. Dec. 7 isn't that far away and that's when Love should be back. Once Rubio comes back it all comes together.

Bad news is Roy's out with arthroscopic knee surgery and JJ Barea's still not back. Looking back on how he got injured, I appreciate his hustle, but man it's always over-hustling in a blowout that gets him.

Good news: Rubio and Love are practicing with the team Love will be back in less than 2 weeks, Rubio, less than a month.

Back to Roy, it was the right move then, no regrets. Part of the deal. At least next year isn't guaranteed. Thank God Shved has shown he can ball, though I still think he needs strengthening workouts. The happiest person is Josh Howard. He's gonna go from not having a team to being an important part of the rotation as is Lee. I was thinking he was gonna be DNP'd or in D-League but now he'll have to keep playing.

In 2 weeks, we're looking at

C Pekovic /Stiemsma
PF Love /Williams
SF Kirilenko /Cunningham
SG Lee /Howard
PG Ridnour /Shved

My guess is that JJ's not back until Love is, and that the team doesn't make another outside signing or trade until February. Til then, this team just needs to figure out how to remain healthy.
