T'wolves win a nice pick me up game against the Bucks
85-95. Needed it big time. Bedtime
#Shvedtime . We got one.
Wolves now 7-8
The good:
Shved: 16 points, 5 assists, 5-9 FG, 4 3's, +10, made all the difference. I think this is what the team hoped he'd be in a year, maybe show flashes at the end of the year. The fact that he's doing this now is such a boost because Lord knows we need it. At this rate, it's gonna be hard to keep him off the starting lineup, just like Rubio a year ago. He might be the guy. Let's hope.
Pektacularyes: 14 points, 16 rebounds, 3 blocks. BAM! He's getting comfortable even if the shots aren't automatic yet. He's rounding out well.
JJ and Luke: 31 points between the two of them. JJ at his most effective. Well done.
Lastly, in 15 minutes, Derrick scored 7 points and 10 boards. If Derrick wants to keep getting consistent minutes, he should keep doing what he's doing. It'll benefit him in the long run.
the bad:
39% shooting. Shot well from 3, but only 70% from the line as well. I just don't think they're valuing the FT's enough.
Sanders with a triple double w/blocks off the bench. Man, just wish we could have pursued him when Milwaukee was gonna give up on him. Good for him.
Lee: DNP-CD. Odd.
Love: 5-19. Holy shyt, when AK comes back just rest it for a day and make sure that hand is 100%. The Wolves will find it hard to do much if he's flexing his hand every 2 minutes and bricking shots he should make.
Lastly, what the hell has happened to the Steamer? 11 minutes of practically nothing. He's someone that really needs to stabilize things as a shot blocker. He's been MIA almost since Roy and Bud have been out. Let's get it together Steamer.
All in all good win. Much needed. AK47 get better. Let's get back to .500. Keep treading water.
