The Minnesota Timberwolves turned down a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Rudy Gay, according to a report.
Speculation suggests the Grizzlies offered a deal that would have sent Gay to the Timberwolves in return for Kevin Love and/or Nikola Pekovic.
The Timberwolves expressed interest in signing Gay to a free agent deal in 2010.

thinks best case scenario is that Roy's contract gets used in a trade.
Definitely thinks a trade will happen by 2/21
Adelman's still gonna be away for a while tending to his wife
-Team is shopping Derrick Williams heavily. His hunch is that they'll get someone like Big Baby or Patrick Patterson (
) Adelman doesn't feel he's ideal in his system, as well as Josh Smith, thus why they won't pursue anything on that front.
They're still internally debating whether they should pay Pekovic $12 mil a year (retarded and I'd be certain they'll ruin any semblance of hope if they don't pay him)
Doesn't think Kahn loses his job based on what happens this year given all the injuries. Believes Glen Taylor is sympathetic to the injury issues
Lakers very interested in Dante Cunningham, but team doesn't think LA has anything they want.
Rick can coach his ass off, but I don't like this philosophy of just having overachievers on the team. It's like he's aiming to build a treadmill team.

I don't feel confident about it. Terry's still coaching, so he won't know how to stop a run or who to play when. If he started Derrick and Rubio we'd win, but I think the game will be close enough to take the T'wolves with the points.
