Look at Arsenio, and all the n1ggas from back then that he interviewed. Look at how went HARD at queer nation.

I just feel bad that he's even coming back to the new scene of swaggafaggin soft fake muthafucas - being the popular ones.

I don't even know if I'll watch - it's gonna be hard for him to have a real ass show like that these days.

Dudes gonna come on his show like :youngsabo:

As soon as he asks a real question though:

Arsenio captured the black excellence of the late eighties and early nineties all on the talk show. I look back on it like WOW we don't appreciate what we got till it's gone.

It's great he came back, but it just won't be the same. Back then the show was so big with urban audiences because that was the only place you got to see the people we were fans of up close and personal. Everybody now is exposed to the public so much it doesn't really mean nothing if a Kanye or Kevin Hart was a guest. And the consciousness of the late 80's/early 90's that existed when he was on the air that made for good convo with his guests like Pac/KRS/NWA/Public Enemy, forget about it. Only thing nikkas stand for today is twitter followers

So many classic moments... On a non hip hop related note I remember when he had Bo Kimble and Jeff Fryer on right after Hank Gathers died... Dude was touching every pocket of pop culture in his era...

And another thing he wasn't fired because of the Farrakhan interview, he scheduled it after they had told him they were gonna cancel him.. That was his middle finger to the network for giving up on a highly rated show...

You're right, I stand corrected.

He was essentially fired (aka blackballed) from the entire industry of entertainment for a number of years, after that interview though.

Farrakhan should be a guest during the first season... Immortal Technique as well.

I doubt they're gonna give him the type of support you need these days anyway.. they entire industry is behind jimmy fallon and the likes of those guys.

First show he got to have some big time OG's like Eddie Murphy, Mike Tyson, Halle Berry. I don't know if young Chappelle or Rock were ever on there, but if they could show up :win:

I don't know what went down, but Stern used to go at Arsenio with fury on his show later on. One rant he called him "my boy" and a "triangle headed b*stard" :dead:
